1. Overview

These terms govern your use of mikke.com.au and any services provided by Mikke (Mike Hall, ABN registered).

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Mikke provides digital services including but not limited to:

• SEO and search engine optimisation
• Web design and development
• WordPress hosting and maintenance
• Digital consulting and strategy

Specific services, deliverables, and terms will be outlined in individual service agreements or proposals.

3. Retainer Agreements

Our primary service model is monthly retainers:

• Retainer hours are purchased monthly in advance
• Unused hours roll over as SEO growth work by default
• Retainers can be cancelled with 30 days notice
• No long-term lock-in contracts

Specific retainer terms will be outlined in your service agreement.

4. Payment Terms

• Retainers are billed monthly in advance
• Payment is due within 7 days of invoice
• Work may be paused on overdue accounts
• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated

5. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of your content, logos, and brand materials provided to us.

Our work: Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom work created specifically for you (website designs, custom code, etc.).

Third-party tools: Some tools, plugins, or assets may be licensed rather than owned. These remain subject to their respective licenses.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and timely feedback
• Ensure you have rights to content you provide
• Maintain appropriate backups of your data
• Keep login credentials secure
• Pay invoices on time

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide services with reasonable care and skill. However:

• We do not guarantee specific SEO rankings or traffic results
• Website performance depends on many factors outside our control
• We are not liable for third-party service outages
• Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service

8. Confidentiality

We treat your business information confidentially and will not share it with third parties except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:

• Outstanding invoices remain payable
• We will provide transition assistance within reason
• You retain access to your content and data

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
